Small Grants Programme

During summer 2021, we launched a new grants programme for small organisations and individuals seeking support for their work with deaf children. Grants will be up to £1,500, but we anticipate that most will be in the region of a few hundred pounds.

The funding is designed to support professional development such as accessing training, undertaking research, buying a resource or piece of equipment which is not available to you through work. Unfortunately, this process cannot be used where other funding should be available, for example, schools or colleges or individuals providing activities under their statutory duty.

The funding is also suitable for small and grassroots organisations, which do not have significant income or reserves, where a grant of up to £1,500 would make a big difference to their provision for deaf children and young people.

We are particularly interested in funding projects that have a lasting benefit.

If you would like to apply for a small grant, or if you have any questions, please contact us.
