In memory of Bob Denman

We are honoured to be chosen to receive donations in memory of our dear friend and colleague Bob Denman who passed away on 7 March 2022.

Bob was passionate about the education and outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and, following his work as a Principal Educational Psychologist, became a loyal member of the National Sensory Impairment Partnership (NatSIP). He was working for the sector through the Consortium for Research into Deaf Education (CRIDE) project undertaken with University College London. Ovingdean Hall Foundation has been proud to support this important research; we appreciated Bob’s work and attention to detail and data, and the reports he submitted to our Trustees’ meetings. Bob worked with us with patience and diligence, and always with a sense of humour. He was a most reliable colleague to the lead researchers on the project as they developed the longitudinal study. We will miss him very much.

Thank you so much to Bob’s partner Beryl and Bob’s family for their kind support. We send them our condolences at this very sad time.

Bob’s memorial page has now closed, but if you would like to support our work with deaf children with a donation please click here. Thank you very much.
